Simmba actor Sara Ali Khan’s relationship with her stepmom Kareena Kapoor Khan is far from a conventional one. They share a sweet friendship. In Sara’s recent interview with a magazine, she shared how much she admires Kareena, especially her performance as Poo in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. She was totally fangirling Kareena while talking about her.
In the interview, Sara asked the interviewer to repeat that ‘Poo is her stepmother.’ With a big laugh on her face, She said, “Can you imagine! Say it again!…Yaa!! I do.” She further added, “People tell me you have willed this to happen. You have been such a die-hard Kareena fan that you have willed her into your life and this is what you get.”
Sara Ali Khan also appeared on Koffee With Karan with father Saif Ali Khan and spoke about their modern family and how they deal with each other and each situation. She said, “Everyone has been clear about their dynamics with me. It has never been confusing. Kareena herself said, ‘Look you have a mother and a great one and what I want is for us to be able to be friends.’ My father also never said ‘This is your second mother’ or made it any way uncomfortable.”
In fact, Sara also spoke about how she was dressed by her mother Amrita to attend Saif and Kareena’s wedding. She said, “My mom dressed me for my father’s wedding. A lot of people would be of the opinion that Kareena was being weird or mom was being weird. It was very comfortable. Everyone was so mature. It was not a big deal.”
Once while talking about Sara and Ibrahim, Kareena said in an interview that they are very well brought up and they always greet her with love and respect whenever they meet.
