Three days ago, we saw Arjun Kapoor at the Mumbai airport leaving for a secret vacation (again) with girlfriend Malaika Arora. On 26th June, on the happy occasion of Arjun’s birthday, the lovebirds finally made their relationship official when Malaika posted a cosy picture of the two with a cute birthday wish for him. She wrote, “Happy bday my crazy,insanely funny n amazing @arjunkapoor … love n happiness always.”
This was the first time either of them posted a picture with just the two of them together in the same frame. Soon, the post was filled with comments from fans and friends from Bollywood congratulating the two. This beautiful sun-kissed picture is from their not-so-secret vacation to the Maldives from earlier this year.
This time, they have travelled to New York to ring in the Ki & Ka actor’s 34th birthday. Both of them have been posting pictures and funky boomerangs from the streets of NY on their Instagram stories. Have a look at their pictures:
Maheep Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor’s wife and Arjun’s chachi, posted this picture of Arjun and Malaika with her son Jahaan Kapoor. Look at them wearing the tricolour so stylishly, with Arjun in bright orange, his cousin Jahaan in white, and Malaika in neon green. So cool!
Here’s Malaika flaunting her oh-so-trendy neon shorts-suit with white sneakers. What’s more interesting in the post is the playful banter between Sanjay and Arjun. First, Sanjay asked who took the picture, to which Arjun replied, “Ya who ??? Pray tell.” As if!

Walking in the shadow already, AK? In Arjun’s next story, we saw it!

He posted this picture with the text “Where to shop next ???” If you look closely, at the silver balloon in the glass window behind Arjun’s cap, you can tell that he’s standing outside Cartier, the luxury brand famous for *drumroll* fine jewellery.
This could only mean that Arjun has already shopped here! And we can’t help but speculate what he has shopped. Could it be a ring for milady? Is he going to propose to Malaika in the US? Now we hear wedding bells louder than ever!
In the anticipation of the big #MalaikaArjun wedding, let’s take a look back at all the times the two secretly travelled together. They tried hard to keep their love life under the rug, but their vacations only made them more visible.
Exhibit A: The Maldives
Both Malaika and Arjun posted solo shots from their short vacay, not a single picture together. But were caught in action by paparazzi on their way back at the Mumbai airport.
Exhibit B: Lake Como, Italy
In October 2018, they had flown to Italy’s Lake Como to celebrate Malaika’s 45th birthday. It was really hard to find a trace of this couple’s retreat on social media, I tell you.
