Ever since the new Motor Vehicles Act came into effect on September 1, we have been seeing countless stories on how people are paying hefty fines for violating traffic rules. Remember the auto driver who was given a challan of Rs 32,500 after he jumped a traffic signal? And the drunk autorickshaw driver from Bhubaneswar who was fined Rs 47,500? The authorities have definitely cracked a whip on some of the most common traffic violations.
The new penalties are almost 10 times higher than the old fines. And well, when a challan is even more than your salary, no one will dare to break a traffic rule. Unless someone is a strong believer of aaj kuch toofani karte hai. And it looks like, this bus driver from Kerela is one!
In a video that has surfaced on the internet recently, a bus driver of the red-and-yellow Kerala State Road Transport Corporation can be seen moving ahead on the wrong side of the road. But, a woman riding on a red scooty taught him a lesson. Take a look at the applaud-worthy video here:
