A talented actress, a style icon and a diva, Hina Khan is one of the highest paid actresses in the Indian television industry. She’s the reigning queen of ‘Telly World’ since her stint as Akshara in the daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. And now she’s playing one of the most loved antagonists Komolika in Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay.
She became the talk of the town when she entered the 11th season of one of the most popular reality TV shows, Bigg Boss. The audiences, who had always seen a very soft and innocent side of her were taken aback with her wild side on the show. They just couldn’t get enough of her, thanks to which she rose to fame as one of the most sought-after contestants. Her infamous fight with fellow housemate Shilpa Shinde only added to her popularity or should we say that it got her the limelight she needed but for the wrong reasons, of course. She received a lot of hatred and flak from Shilpa’s supporters.
But her controversial aura was on her side and she stayed a favourite till the season’s end. Shilpa won the show eventually and trolls called out Hina for her misbehavior… in the form of name-calling and memes, which went on for quite some time. Hina Khan was clearly the villain of the house in the watchers’ eyes.
However, last week, when Bigg Boss season 12 announced its winner- Dipika Kakkar Ibrahim, fans took to Twitter to apologize to Hina for misunderstanding her throughout the 11th season. A strange realization, no?
She took to Twitter to graciously accept their apologies and to admit she was happy that people who didn’t like her earlier felt differently now. She wrote:
Don’t be sorry , it’s perfectly ok..these msgs make me feel so good..people who did not like me and judged me are now apologising to me for being so judgemental..And Remember,That was a storm,not to destroy me but to clear the path for me so tht I can prove myself and succeed 🙏 https://t.co/YITKrzU8ss
