The ongoing COVID-19 crisis in India has completely exhausted our healthcare professionals. From treating millions of patients to witnessing their loss and grief, our doctors and medical staff have literally placed their own lives at stake to save ours. TBH, we will never be able to imagine the hardships they have faced and are still facing as the situation in our country continues to worsen by the day.
But, in the middle of everything, our healthcare workers have time and again ensured that they prioritise their own and their patient’s mental health as well. From sharing motivational case studies to cheerful dance videos on social media, our heroes remind us to stay positive at every possible instance. Something similar happened recently when a few doctors danced to the beats of Sadi Gali from Tanu Weds Manu with a COVID patient. Take a look at this uber cool video that’s winning the internet:

The video has been shared by Dr. Amrinder Singh and he wrote in the caption, “Thori masti b zaruri hai. Students of BMCRI along with a stable covid patient on the last day of their corona shift! NGL, this video calmed my COVID anxiety and brought a huge smile to my face. While the doctors enjoyed the last day of their COVID shift, the patient looked a lot more cheerful by the end of the video. Isn’t that something given how unnerved one can feel while suffering from such a deadly virus?!
Kudos to these brave corona warriors for keeping their mental health and spirit afloat during these tough times. God knows we all can do with a lot more smiles in our lives right now!
