We really thought that Zaid Darbar was just bluffing with us all when he said that he had heard rumours about Gauahar Khan‘s 2020 wedding. Well, as it turns out, the two are currently gearing up for their D-Day on December 25th.
In fact, the pre-wedding festivities have already kicked off and the couple took to Instagram last night to share some pictures from their gorgeous haldi ceremony. The Vibrant Outfits
Dressed in complimenting yellow outfits, both Gauahar and Zaid look every bit adorable in their haldi pictures. And while Zaid might have kept it simple with a Lucknowi kurta, it is Gauahar’s vibrant lehenga that we are totally eyeing. While the bride-to-be has kept it basic in the colour department by opting for a yellow haldi lehenga, she has ensured to keep it unique and fun with the details of her outfit.
We especially love how the modern silhouette of her hand-printed skirt beautifully gels with its traditional details. The Maayera Jaipur lehenga has been done in ruched cotton and has our heart for the gorgeous medley of colours on its print especially the magenta accents at the hem. And while the lehenga is as vibrant as could get, the choli has been kept simple so as to highlight the gorgeous skirt and its traditional gota work. Don’t miss our on the lime green dupatta as well. Gauahar opted for designer floral jewels to go with her lehenga and damn, how beautiful is that Maang tikka! The jewellery has been designed by Puneet Gupta and totally has us floored over its intricate details.

Hair And Makeup
