Pretty Woman (1990)
Amazon Prime Video
Pretty woman, walking down the street… pretty woman! Oh, this song has already transported me to the high street lanes of Los Angeles. Though a rom-com between a successful businessman (Richard Gere) and a sex worker (Julia Roberts), the movie is known for opening the doors to a new world of fashion. None of us can forget those thigh-high black boots or the red gown worn by Vivian. Edward had to fall hard for her in the modern Cinderella update.

A must watch for everyone who is addicted to shopping! Or pretty things. Breakfast At Tiffany’s (1961)
Netflix
We all know where the black sheath dress trend started. Filmed in 1961, this movie was way ahead of its time as far as Holly Golightly’s (played by Audrey Hepburn) wardrobe’s concerned. Decades have passed by and nothing chicer and more elegant than her velvet gloves and pearls have been found. They just transport me straight into the vintage NY era.
