For a rakhi lunch with the fam last week, Kareena Kapoor Khan opted to keep it comfortable in breezy Indian wear. A semi-flared mustard kurta and a solid stole in the same colour aside, the actress wore wide-legged straight trousers in white. Rounding up her look with a pair of earrings and gold-tinted kolhapuris, Kareena kept her makeup to a bare minimum, adding a tiny bindi on the forehead. Striking yet relaxed, the silk Indian wear outfit was sans embroidery and print of any kind, the vibrant colour standing out for a winning look. Notably, it also highlighted how well the two hues made her outfit pairing go together, should a viable colour combo be on your mind.

Janhvi Kapoor’s Head-To-Toe Embroidered Look
The same colour, and yet different. Janhvi Kapoor too went for the vibrant colour but in an approach that varied from that of Kareena Kapoor Khan. Opting for a monochrome look that featured placement embroidery motifs all over, the Gunjan Saxena actress’s Indian wear outfit was perfect for the lockdown celebrations. Featuring trims on the hem and sleeve ends, Janhvi’s look was accompanied by a dupatta that came complete with lace details and a paisley border, small bootis scattered throughout. And though it was a head-to-toe embroidered look with palazzos in the same style, the OOTD comprising the strategic placement didn’t disappoint. Keeping her hair and makeup simple, the actress accessorised her look with white juttis and tiny jhumkas.
