2017 was a revolutionary period for the makeup industry. Rihanna not only launched Fenty Beauty, but she also launched a foundation in 40 different shades. No other brand was doing this at that time and only offered a limited range of foundation shades to customers (thankfully times have changed now). In fact, if you take a look at our Indian skin colour, we’re more than these three shades – light, medium and deep. There are different shades of brown and we shouldn’t invest in a foundation shade that doesn’t blend with our skin colour. Remember, the foundation shouldn’t be a tone lighter or deeper than your actual skin colour. On the contrary, the shade needs to match your skin colour. More so, it needs to look like its part of your skin. Bad Girl, RiRi, was aware that one shade does not fit all and the reason why Fenty Beauty is where it is today is that it had a vision and aimed for change.
Everything You Need To Know About Fenty Skin
From foundation to gloss bombs to bronzers, every beauty product turned out to be a hit! After making a name for herself in the makeup industry, her focus is now skincare. Called Fenty Skin, the products are all set to be launched on the 31st of this month! Here’s a sneak peek.
The account is barely a day old and already has a whopping 101k followers. Rihanna also posted the same video clip on her personal IG account to confirm the news. The caption read as “Ima try my best to be humble about this but, @fentyskin is coming July 31st exclusively at FENTYSKIN.COM!! Y’all ain’t hear it from me 🤫 but you can shop it early if ya drop me your email through the link in my bio…”
It’s a short clip of Rihanna wearing no makeup and trying out her new skincare line. There’s not much said about the products she uses, but from what it looks like we think it’s a foaming cleanser, essence or serum and a moisturiser.
The official launch is on the 31st of July, but if you sign up, you can get early access to the products on the 29th of July. We can’t wait to learn more about Fenty Skin products. What ingredients do the products have? Like a variety of foundation shades, will Fenty Skin also have skincare products for different skin types and skin problems? Well, guess we’ll all have to wait just a little more to see what the Queen has to offer!
