With interesting twists almost every day, Kasautii Zindagii Kay has fans glued to their TV screens. However, another change in the plot is now being speculated with the entry of a ‘New Komo’ doing rounds and we cannot contain our excitement.
Ever since actor Hina Khan entered the show as Komolika, she took the internet by storm and ironically so, her negative role as a vamp received a lot of love from the audience. But, the actor shocked everyone when she quit Ekta Kapoor’s show mid-way. According to reports, Hina has bagged a role in Vikram Bhatt movie & is all set to make her debut on the silver screen. Producer Ekta Kapoor’s latest tweet and her Instagram post on who the ‘New Komo’ will be, can be considered a confirmation of the same.
Ekta wrote, “New komo!!!?????? But whooooooooooo;)”

The tweet has put netizens on tenterhooks. While many want Hina back as Komolika in the show, many recommended Karishma Tanna and Krystle Dsouza to play the iconic role. According to reports, Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauhar Khan was also approached earlier to play Hina’s character but the talks failed to materialise. Gauhar, who is believed to have even appeared for a look test for the role, wasn’t keen on playing the character as she is currently considering some web projects instead.
Meanwhile, Ekta Kapoor is leaving no opportunity to keep the suspense going. Ekta took to Instagram and wrote, “Will miss uuuu komo @realhinakhan uve been awwwwwwsome ..will do something BIG SOOON. ab komo Kaun??????😎🤫🤫🤫🤫 credit: @ektaravikapoor… Bihar ka bewagpan aur bengal ki adaa …. While Hina nailed it as Komolika, it will be interesting to see which actress gets to play the classical role. The key challenge for any actress will be to live up to the stylish legacy of Komolika and ace those stunningly enigmatic looks.
Remember, the original Komolika was essayed by popular television actress Urvashi Dholakia, who is currently participating in Nach Baliye.
