There’s been a lot of buzz around the ninth season of the dance reality series Nach Baliye. From all the celebrity participants to the judges on the panel, this season has a lot of surprises for the viewers. While the makers haven’t confirmed the hosts of the upcoming season yet, we’ve got you some info on the star couple who will be emceeing the pre-launch episodes – TV actress Divyanka Tripathi and her husband Vivek Dahiya!
Divyanka and Vivek were also the winners of Nach Baliye 8. Their chemistry and innovative dance numbers were the highlight of the season and had given us some major #RelationshipGoals. We’re sure that their fans are going to be super psyched to watch the couple back together on the small screen.
In an interview with a leading daily, Divyanka revealed, “Vivek and I are doing it together for the pre-launch episode. I always wanted to host with Vivek. I’m very happy that we got this opportunity in Nach which has been a very important part of our life.”
Divyanka and Vivek are currently holidaying in Macau and have been actively sharing updates from their vacay on Instagram. They took this romantic vacation to ring in their third marriage anniversary. The two lovebirds had a memorable wedding in 2016, which was widely covered by the media.
Divyanka has become a household name by playing the character of Ishita Bhalla on Star Plus’ long-running TV show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Vivek Dahiya also shared screen space with Divyanka on the same show. Now that they have been roped in to host the first episode of Nach Baliye 9. We can’t wait for the star couple to recreate their charm on the small screen.
As per the latest development, Star Plus has already released two promos of Nach Baliye 9, revealing two contesting jodis – Urvashi Dholakia-Anuj Sachdeva and Madhurima Tuli-Vishal Aditya Singh. Watch the promos here:
The ninth season of Nach Baliye has a super interesting and bold theme. For the first time on Television, the show will bring together all the ex-couples as contestants. The season will also see a number of married couples including Anita Hassanandani-Rohit Reddy and Rubina Dilaik-Abhinav Shukla.
There were also rumors that Kareena Kapoor would be co-judging the show with Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput. But as per the latest report, Salman Khan is likely to be a part of the first episode and might even take up judging. However, nothing has been confirmed officially.
The first episode of Nach Baliye 9 will air on July 20.
