After 6 years of dating, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot on November 14th and 15th, at Lake Como. But the internet got no pictures whatsoever because the couple decided that the wedding would be kept intimate and quiet. They requested the media to give them some privacy because they wanted to share the pictures in their own time. And they did!
Today, at 4:45 PM, the couple simultaneously decided to post multiple wedding pictures from their Mehendi functions and Anand Karaj. Guess what that lead to? They broke the internet! DeepVeer officially shut down Instagram and Facebook due to multiple users using it at the same time.
Just kidding! Though most of us would love to believe that the couple’s adorable pictures from their wedding, which has got me craving a shaadi ASAP is the reason Facebook and Instagram shut down, it isn’t. Facebook developer Marissa Hoek stated that the website was “currently experiencing issues that may cause some API requests to take longer or fail unexpectedly. We are investigating the issue and working on a resolution.” Some routine tests held by the websites caused an unexpected shutdown leading to access and troubleshooting issues.
