When Bollywood’s favourite sweethearts, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, tied the knot exactly a year ago, they broke the internet. Their wedding took place at Lake Como in Italy, and the pictures looked like they were right out of a storybook.
To mark one year of togetherness, the couple decided to celebrate by visiting the Tirupati temple. Deepika took to Instagram to post a picture of the couple together, with the caption “As we celebrate our first wedding anniversary, we seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara. Thank You all for your love, prayers and good wishes!

And if someone mistakenly thought that the love-birds got married again, we wouldn’t blame them! DeepVeer looked like they stepped straight from a mandap to the mandir. Deepika looked breathtaking in a bright red banarasi sari. She accessorised her look with chunky traditional kundan earrings and neckpieces. Her hair was neatly tied back in a bun, and the hint of sindoor added a final touch to the entire outfit.
Ranveer looked equally regal in an ivory kurta-pajama which he topped with a beige Nehru jacket. He also wore a bright red stole to match DP’s saree.
