The actress almost got mobbed by a woman who was trying to sell her a tissue box.
DP was recently spotted leaving a cafe in Mumbai and before she could even pose for the paparazzi, her fans surrounded her. And one of them started pulling her handbag to sell her a tissue box. A video has been doing the rounds on the internet and frankly, it clearly shows why people need to stop this madness right away. Take a look:
We have to laud Deepika for keeping her cool throughout the fiasco ‘cuz honestly, that video made us cringe hard. A lot of fans often forget that celebrities need their personal space as well. And, invading that can never be justified no matter how much you love them. Seriously, there are other ways to express your love for your favourite celebs and none of them includes hovering over them.
Recently, actors like Anushka Sharma have come forward to call out the pap culture for prying into their personal lives without consent. Not just adults and celebrities, Safi Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor-Khan’s firstborn, Taimur Ali Khan is often seen stopping his fans and tabloids from clicking his pictures. And just a reminder–the child is merely 3-years-old. Doesn’t that say enough about this toxic pap culture? Remember that by manhandling or mobbing someone, you are not gaining control over anything but losing a sense of humanity.
