After the epic fail that the ratings proved Bigg Boss Season 12 to be, the makers are going the extra mile to salvage the franchise. From the commoner ‘jodis’ that failed to leave an impression to the lack of celebrities, season 12 was bound to disappoint.
Hosted by Salman Khan, the Bigg Boss Season 13 is rumoured to have some big names in the basket. The makers are not considering non-celebrity participants anymore and are instead opting for names that will draw attention. Which is why, reports suggest that the first actor to be on-board this season as a contestant is none other than the seasoned comedian, Chunky Panday.
The actor, with over three decades of experience, is one of the most popular comedians in the industry and is rumoured to be a part of the show. Recently Chunky Panday’s daughter, Ananya Panday made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s film, Student Of The Year 2 alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria.
Chunky Panday was last seen in the movie, Begum Jaan, which starred Vidya Balan in the lead. He will be seen next in Sujeeth’s Saaho, starring Prabhas of Bahubali fame and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. The actor also gained popularity for his character, Akhri Pasta in the Housefull series.
Rumour has it that Zareen Khan, Rajpal Yadav, Ankita Lokhande, Danny D, Vijender Singh and Mahaakshay Chakraborty are some of the other actors who are being considered for the Bigg Boss 13.
