Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa have been grabbing eyeballs for a long time. The couple had a court wedding on June 7 last year followed by a white wedding in Goa on June 16. Charu and Rajeev have been treating their fans with their mushy pictures since then. But, it looks like the honeymoon period is over for the couple and a year into their marriage, there seems to be trouble in paradise.

If reports are to be believed, Rajeev flew to Delhi on May 29, 2020 (a few days before their first wedding anniversary) after a fight with Charu which initially sparked the rumours of their separation. Even though Rajeev debunked the rumours of moving out of their house or marriage initially, the duo deleting their pictures sparked the rumours yet again.
The speculations escalated when Charu took to her Instagram handle and posted a cryptic message on feeling broken. She wrote, ‘Bohot Haste Ho, Toote Ho Kya?’ (You laugh a lot, are you broken from within).
The Mere Angne Mein actress has dropped Rajeev’s surname from her social media accounts while the latter has blocked her from all channels of communication.
Calling Charu an innocent and simple girl, the model-turned-actor alleged that somebody (from her friend circle) is brainwashing her. “I hope she doesn’t lose her path. If I find out who the culprit is, I will post his or her name along with a picture and a lot of facts”, he told a popular publication. He also mentioned that his wife is quite naive and can easily be influenced by people.
Breaking her silence on their equation, Charu has finally reacted to her husband’s comment. Charu said that she is mature enough to make her own decisions and it’s always been that way. She questioned Rajeev’s moving out from their marital home, saying that why did he leave if he thought she is so gullible and can easily be influenced by the people around. “It’s been two months now (since he left). Why would he do that? Shaq ka koi ilaaj nahi hai,” she added.
Charu said that while there’s a lot she can say regarding the problems in their relationship and why it went sour, she doesn’t want to become a topic for gossip mongers.
The couple first met at a party in January 2019 and have been dating since then. Rajeev and Charu decided to get hitched after knowing each other for four months and announced their engagement on May 4 the same year. We hope the couple is able to sort out their differences soon.
