While we have witnessed the horrors of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in the past few months, we have also witnessed the rise of humanity. As the system continues to fall apart, it is really heartwarming to see people reaching out to each other during the crisis and going out of their way to help absolute strangers. Bleak as the current situation might be, it is the unyielding humanity that continues to fuel our hopes. Look around and you’ll see how everyone is doing their part to steer India out of this chaos while creating an uplifting story of kindness, compassion, and perseverance.
The Indian celebs have also joined the aid efforts and some of them have started crowdfunding for COVID-19 mitigation. They have themselves made generous donations to these initiatives and now urge you to join the cause. Here are eight celeb-led fundraisers and details about how you can contribute:

Bhumi Pednekar
In a unique initiative, Bhumi Pednekar has collaborated with Ketto India to help people start their own fundraisers. “Over the past few days, Covid Warrior volunteers have received several requests for financial aid. While we have tried our level best to help certain families in dire need, we realise that there are several people in need to help and we alone are not in a position to help them. In light of the above, we have collaborated with Ketto to help bridge the gap and ensure that those in actual need have a chance to get financial aid by way of crowdfunding,” she wrote while announcing the initiative.
