Everything said about the magic of Sabyasachi is less. He is one of those magicians who can transform any look and make it ethereal. He has, of course, changed the face of Indian weddings and Indian fashion and creates pieces that can truly be called art. Every Indian dulhan has at some point dreamed of being a Sabya bride but yeah, it costs as much as your liver probably.
Meet the gorgeous Priyanka Parkash who was all set to marry her boyfriend of 14 years. She is a strong, prolific lady who represents the modern girl of urban India. She applied for the Band Baaja Bride show which Sabyasachi makes with Good Times and got selected. As a part of the show, Sabya dressed her up in all his finest jewellery and clothes for her special and boy, did she look like a stunner.
She chose to wear a red lehenga and choli for her D-day without any embroidery but just a thick border all around. The detailed gota work along with the classic layered Sabyasachi gold jewellery completed the bridal look. Her groom, Ashish Sachdeva looked dapper in an embroidered white sherwani.

As for the makeup, Priyanka went for a flawless base, brownish nude lipstick, a lightly dusted brown-gold eyeshadow and fluttery lashes. She also left her gorgeous tresses open and proved that a floral bun isn’t the only hairstyle for a bride.
While dressing and picking out her outfit even Sabya was floored by her beauty and actually offered her a modelling contract to model for his spring-summer 2020 collection. Of course, an overjoyed Priyanka said yes!
Dressed in a burgundy sequined saree, our desi dulhan looked like she was born to be in front of the camera.
She also modelled a black saree with gold detailing and it’s perfect for a wedding guest reception outfit. Pair it with contemporary kadas and diamond earrings and you’ll be the star of the night.
After all this, Sabya even gave her a special gift which was a Sabyasachi mangalsutra along with a handwritten note by the designer himself. OMG, am I the only one who has tears in my eyes?
