SHOCKING: This Bride Ran Away With The Pandit Who Performed Her Wedding Ceremony

Ever heard of a runaway bride? Well, it happened for real in Madhya Pradesh, but the plot twist is something of a shocker. Recently, a bride from Madhya Pradesh ran away after her wedding. What was weird about the incident was the person she eloped with. It was a few days after the wedding ceremony when the newlywed bride ran away with the pandit who performed her nuptials. If that isn’t a shocking twist to a story, we don’t know what is!

1 bride runs away with priest

The incident took place in Tori Bagrod, Sironj city of Madhya Pradesh. As per reports, Vinod Maharaj was a priest at a temple located at the Asath village. On May 7, when the woman was to get married, Vinod was asked to perform the wedding ceremony. Three days after the wedding, the woman came back to her parents’ house, as per the rituals.

Two weeks later, the same priest was to perform another wedding in the same locality on May 23, but he couldn’t be located. After people started looking for him, they discovered that even the woman (the newlywed bride) was missing from her home. After several attempts of frantic searching, her relatives lodged a complaint and investigations began. To the utter disbelief of the villagers, the woman also ran away with jewellery worth Rs 1.5 lakh and Rs 30,000 cash.

Soon, investigation reports revealed that the pandit and the woman had been in a romantic relationship for the past two years! To everyone’s horror, he was already married and had two children of his own. And now the priest’s entire family is missing.

Well, this turned out to be a love affair that nobody expected! As absurd and weird this incident is, we can’t help but feel sorry for the groom and the families involved.
