It is an important day for Bollywood today. Not because of some award show but because it’s the poll day in Mumbai courtesy the Lok Sabha Elections 2019. Celebrities have been making their way to their respective polling stations all day long. Here are some Bollywood celebs who fulfilled their civic duty as an Indian citizen by casting their precious vote. The best part? They made it a point to do it in style.
Now, tell us, which one of the following will get your vote for the best dressed celeb?
1. Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Priyanka’s descend into monochrome madness is new to no one. The actress has made several appearances wearing a single colour head-to-toe. For the poll day today, she chose a top, striped trousers, an overcoat and pumps in beige. Such street style inspiration, much wow.
2. Kangana Ranaut
Kangana trusted her favourite outfit – a saree – for the occasion. She wore a dark blue printed saree with a solid cut-sleeves blouse and completed the look with a pair of oversized sunglasses.
3. Kareena Kapoor Khan
Kareena looked anything but simple in a basic white T-shirt and blue jeans combination. Black sneakers and aviator sunnies were all she needed to get our attention. What an excellent reminder that less is more. Also, looks like Taimur had his first visit to a polling station. How cute!
4. Dia Mirza
Dia looked like a breath of fresh air in a cool blue and white printed suit set.
5. Ranveer Singh
Ranveer’s polygon-shaped tinted sunnies were the talk of the town – as always. Now that’s the kind of Math we like to do.
6. Deepika Padukone
Deepika showed us how to summer in style with a solid white oversized shirt paired with blue skinny jeans and sneakers. Roughly tie your hair into a low ponytail and don’t forget your shades for a casual chic look like DP.
7. Athiya Shetty
Athiya’s pink and white kurta and palazzo set looked easy breezy and perfect for summer. We love!
8. Anushka Sharma
Anushka trusted what looks like her own label Nush to dress up for the poll day. She wore a denim shirt in a clean look tucked into a colour-blocked accordion pleated skirt. Casual and crisp at the same time, nice.
9. Sonali Bendre
Sonali Bendre wore an indigo blue and off-white printed suit with juttis, sunnies and minimal earrings. Looks like a stylish workwear outfit to us!
10. Urmila Matondkar
Urmila just joined Congress around a month ago and came to vote in a white and khaki coloured salwar suit which she teamed with a pair of comfy wedges.
11. Tara Sutaria
Tara wore a combination of black and yellow in the form of coloured jeans and a knotted jersey top. We like how she went the extra mile to colour-coordinate her phone cover with her OOTD. And the all-black narrow shades with giant gold-toned hoops are a classic.
12. Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi went with a mauve and white embroidered suit and accessorised it with a pair of statement-making drop earrings and reflectors looking like a true Dabangg. Did you notice her lace-up juttis? Interesting!
