We’re only in the second month of 2020 and we’re already starting to feel the heat. Oh! We’re not talking about summer, but about our B-Town beauties flaunting their makeup looks on the ‘Gram! More than bold lips and dramatic graphic eyeliner looks, we spotted a lot of glow and poppin’ eye makeup trends. 8 Hot, Fresh Makeup Looks We’re Crushing On
These looks have one thing in common and it’s the GLOW. So if you attempt to recreate any of these looks, never start on dry skin. Always make sure your skin is prepped with an ultra-hydrating moisturiser and if possible, a liquid highlighter or a facial oil.
Highlighter On Point!
Katrina’s highlighter is so bright, I’m sure we can spot it from space! What’s amazing is that her makeup look isn’t too subtle or too loud – it’s in the sweet spot. For her eye makeup, she went with a dark chocolate brown smokey eye with a pop of pink. Her lashes here look generously coated with mascara and brows groomed and defined to perfection. Oh, and that creamy nude pout looks absolutely irresistible!
Time To Sparkle
Anushka’s lids have this soft, shimmery light brown wash of colour that looks beyond aesthetic. Notice how natural and radiant her highlighter is looking too? To get a glow like this, your skin needs to be moisturised and well hydrated. You can also mix liquid illuminator with your foundation to get this natural glow.
Colourful Like A Unicorn
We love Sara’s relationship with makeup. She used to play it safe last year and stick to just neutral colours, but 2020 celebrates a different version of her. Here, she has this bright unicorn eyeshadow makeup look going on. It’s fun, peppy and oh-so-refreshing. We wish that other B-Town divas follow in her footsteps too.
Queen of Minimalism
Deepika’s makeup look is clean, minimal and classy. Her makeup look is only focused on accentuating her features. A slight pop of highlighter, a hint of blush and glimmer on her lids, bold brows and a nudie pout – she’s the epitome of beauty!

All About That Glow
This year our celebs seem to be obsessed with glowing skin! After all, a glow does represent health and happy skin. Shraddha’s glow doesn’t look forced, the product natural rests on her face, making her makeup look come across as fresh and dreamy. For the lips, it’s not a strong matte colour, it’s a glossy barbie pink lip colour. Plus, the winged eyeliner adds to Shraddha’s overall makeup look.
Smokey Is In
We’re not sure what to focus on here, Malaika’s neon dress or alluring makeup look or those holographic nails. We think the latter deserves a tad bit more attention. Malaika too is sporting nude lips with loud eye makeup. She’s got that black smokey eye working for her and those lashes only make her peepers stand out even more.
The Tiny Details Count
We did a story on V-Day makeup recently and one of the makeup looks is about placing stickies at the end of the liner. So glad that Sonam popularised this trend too. Obvs, her eye makeup is the focus here. Diamond stones as studs, dreamy thick winged liner, soft pink pout, flower bun and defined brows – Sonam makes us feel closer to our Indian roots.
