Arjun Kapoor’s Stirring Post On Instagram For His Mother’s Death Anniversary Has Us Moved!

The ‘2 States’ actor Arjun Kapoor and his sister Anshula Kapoor’s mother, Mona Shourie passed away on March 25th, 2012 after succumbing to cancer. It was one of the harrowing times the actor had to go through and he came out looking stronger. Yesterday, Sunday, 25th March 2018, marked Shourie’s death anniversary. And the actor took to social media to share an incredibly emotional post on the occasion which moved his fans and followers to tears.

He shared a post on Instagram, where he wrote a beautiful message remembering his mother.

In the post, he penned down,”As I was shooting by a canal today in Patiala wishing I could send u a picture of how nice the location was Mom I realised I never quite got to walk the red carpet with u to show u one of my films but I’m certain in the last 6 years u have walked every step of the way with me thru these 9 films Along with mine & Anshula s personal journeys…wish u were here Mom so much has transpired so much where I would have looked at u for answers and looked at u to draw strength…I don’t know if I’m doing a decent job at it but I’m taking one day at a time and making each moment count trying to be a truthful reflection of u n ur teachings…can’t believe it’s been 6 years to the day but I have thought of u every breath I have taken pls smile spread ur warmth n positivity wherever u are cause god knows the world me and Anshula need it…love u forever and beyond…”

While talking to a leading daily, he even reminisced their relationship and went on to say,”She was my friend and I miss her every moment, but more in good moments. Bad moments I know anyways I would have dealt with myself. When I went to Ishaqzaade in a normal hall and people came and took pictures of me, I wished she had been there to see that. I wanted my mother to see that she had brought me up well enough and that I could survive.”

We wish Arjun all the strength and success!
