Arjun Kapoor has time and again proved that he loves his sisters Anshula, Janhvi, Khushi, Rhea and Sonam Kapoor. He’s stood by them whenever trolls slammed them and he’s been very supportive of everything they’ve done.
It’s common knowledge that Arjun shares a great camaraderie with cousin Sonam Kapoor, and they’re more like friends. From banter on Instagram to poking fun on each other, the two are thick as thieves.
Recently, Arjun shared two childhood pictures of him and Sonam with a heartfelt caption that made us reach for a box of tissues.
He wrote, “Me trying to get this Ladki’s attention since childhood & (swipe right) her finally noticing then looking straight at the camera & not me !!! @sonamkapoor from the time I remember u will always be the first ladki in my life that I loved hanging out with… so proud of u & @anilskapoor for going out on a limb & choosing a script u believed in beyond the perceptions of the so called world. In the first picture, Arjun is seen sitting beside Sonam with his hand on her shoulder and the second photo has Sonam looking straight into the camera as Arjun is busy playing with his shades.
Not only is he promoting Sonam’s upcoming film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga but also setting very high sibling goals. Aren’t they too cute to handle?
On the work front, Arjun has been working out vigourously as he’s prepping for upcoming flick Panipat. The actor seems to have beefed up for the role. Arjun is also donning a heavy moustache as he’s getting into the skin of the historical figure Sadashiv Rao Bhau. Helmed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. The film is slated for release on December 6, 2019.
