You might agree with us when we say Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have been setting indomitable #CoupleGoals ever since they got married in 2017. The couple has gone all out to express their love for each other, and, we have to say, they stand for each other at all times. We saw proof of that in a video that started doing rounds on the internet last evening.
On Thursday, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli attended a special event where Feroz Shah Kotla Cricket Stadium was renamed after former union minister and president of the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) Arun Jaitley, who died last month. The event, which was held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi, a new pavilion stand at Delhi’s famous cricket venue was also named after current India captain Virat Kohli.
During the event, a video of Anushka and Virat sitting beside each other went viral. And just right when Anushka and Virat were all mushy, sharing a moment, the paps captured them. Well, we are glad they did. They look so adorable, don’t they?
In the video, the couple can be seen holding each other’s hands tightly.
Both of them shared an emotional moment when current DDCA President, Rajat Sharma, pointed out how Arun Jaitley was all praise for Virat when he played a cricket match after his father’s death. In fact, Arun Jaitley even predicted that Virat would become a big name in the world of circket. Throughout that moment, Anushka showed her support to her hubby by holding his hand tightly. She even planted a soft kiss on his hand which helped Virat to lighten up. This video clip is proof!
At the event, Virat also spoke about his relationship with Arun Jaitley, who would visit his home to offer moral support when Virat’s father passed away.“I know Jaitley Ji as a person who came to my house and encouraged me when my father passed away. He also motivated me. So, I had a special connection with him. He was a very good person. So, it is a proud moment that both the things happened at the same time,” he said.
