Monday is here. What did you do this weekend, Netflix and chill? While most of us spent the weekend sleeping, binge-watching and cuddling with our cats, there were those who were on a mission.
The captain of the Indian Cricket Team Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress and producer Anushka Sharma shared videos of them working out, now that they are back in Mumbai after the ICC World Cup in England. Anushka posted a video of her pumping some iron in her Instagram stories and captioned it, “Lift it like a pro” in all-camo green workout gear.
Virat Kohli also shared a video of his workout on his Instagram account and it’s safe to say that we have a crush on this power couple!
In the past, the two have also shared videos of them working out together, where Virat can be seen gushing over his workout buddy.
A couple that works out together stays together, eh?
Anushka Sharma, who was last seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Zero, will next be seen taking on the role of a producer for a Netflix original series, Mai. Anushka will be producing the show under her and her brother, Karnesh Sharma’s banner, Clean Slate Films. The actress told a leading newspaper that she is currently too occupied to take on any new projects as an actress, “Being a producer, I anyway have my hands full, we are doing some interesting work. We have been producing shows for streaming platforms, a film too. Those are things that also require my time, and in my case, it’s very different. I am an actor at the same time. There are things that I do behind the scenes, which obviously people are not going to be privy to.” Her Netflix original, Mai follows the story of a middle-aged woman who finds herself in the underworld after accidentally killing a Mafia leader. Sounds exciting!
