I am not a sports enthusiast but I have to say that I’m a big fan of Virat Kohli. Our Indian Cricket Team’s captain makes each one of us proud and there’s no way in the world that you cannot admire him. But guess who’s turning out to be his biggest fan recently? Not just the biggest but the youngest as well. Yep, we are talking about his baby girl, Vamika. The little munchkin has been following her daddy’s matches for a while now along with her mommy, Anushka Sharma. We’re sure that once she grows up, she would be happy to know that she was a part of almost all her father’s victories. In fact, she may just be Virat’s lucky charm!
Currently, Team India is all set to play against New Zealand in the UK for the World Test Championship. The players were recently spotted heading to the airport. But what grabbed our attention was Vamika wrapped securely in her mother’s arms.
Though the actress can be seen covering her daughter’s face with her hands completely, we can’t help but notice how cute the tiny bundle of joy looks! Both Anushka and Virat had covered their faces with masks and followed the necessary COVID guidelines.
The proud parents had asked the paps to not click pictures of their daughter. Recently, during an Instagram Live session, Virat said that they would not share Vamika’s snaps on social media until she’s old enough to make the decision herself. Wow, that sounds extremely thoughtful and we totes respect their decision.
While talking about his upcoming match, the skipper said in a recent interview, “We are going to board that flight knowing that we are at equal terms. And whichever team performs well session by session, hour by hour is going to win that championship.”
TBH, we believe that Vamika is defs going to have her father’s sportsmanship and her mother’s charm. It’s hard not to! On that note, good luck Team India!
