Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin franchise is loved by many and the show’s TRPs are proof enough. From Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan to Surbhi Jyoti, Karishma Tanna, and Anita Hassanandani, fans have loved all the Ichchadhaari Naagins in all of its seasons. Anita Hassanandani, who plays an important role in Naagin 4, is back to work to shoot the last leg of the Ekta Kapoor series. As per reports, the makers are shooting the last two episodes including the mega finale. In a recent interview with a popular entertainment daily, Anita spoke about being back on the sets and her inhibitions regarding going back to work given the current situation.
“My husband was really scared sending me back to work. But once I was back, I felt safe with all the precautions being taken. On Ekta’s (Kapoor) set, the actor’s well-being is always a top priority.” The Naagin actress further said, “I don’t have to do much, just make sure I keep sanitising my hands often and wash them whenever I go into the vanity van. I am also careful not to touch my face much. Everyone’s safety is more important right now than how the show looks.”
Speaking about her character in Naagin 5, Anita said, “I’m fortunate to have been a part of two seasons and would love to be in the next one, too. But I think my character has exhausted her run. I am content with my two seconds of fame.”
The makers, however, haven’t made any official announcement yet. Meanwhile, on the work front, Anita has offers that require her to shoot outside of Mumbai. The actress isn’t sure whether she will pursue those or not. Before the lockdown, Anita worked on a movie with Tusshar Kapoor. The release date of the film is yet to be confirmed.n.
