Ananya Panday made her debut along with Tara Sutaria in Student Of The Year 2, and also shared screen space with Tiger Shroff earlier this year. Now, she has got two films in her portfolio and is being appreciated for her acting skills in Pati Patni Aur Woh for her girl-next-door vibe.
In an interview with a leading publication, Ananya Panday opened up about her upcoming project Khaali Peeli, in which she’s starring alongside Ishaan Khatter. She was all praises for her co-actor and said that he’s a ball of energy on set.
She said, “Ishaan is like a ball of energy. Whenever he comes on set, it feels like a storm has blown in. If people think that I talk a lot, Ishaan is 10 times worse.”
Lauding the Dhadak actor for his talent, she also added, “He is a lot of fun to work with. As an actor, he is amazing, talented and people are yet to witness it [his true potential].”
Talking about the film, Ananya said that Khaali Peeli is an intense thriller but has commercial viability to it too. “I have a Bambaiya accent in the film. Our director Maqbool is good with the lingo, so I kept interacting with him and that has been my learning source,” the diva added.
Directed by Maqbool Khan and produced by Ali Abbas Zafar under the banner of Zee Studios, the film is a remake of the Telugu film Taxiwala that released in 2018. It starred Vijay Deverakonda and Priyanka Jawalkar and was a blockbuster hit. Khaali Peeli is all set to hit the big screens on June 12, 2020.
