Bollywood’s favourite couple Deepika and Ranveer are currently in Lake Como, Italy making their six-year-long relationship official. The couple almost broke Instagram when they finally announced that they were getting married and we had tears in our eyes, TBH. While we don’t have actual photos from the wedding, we do know what’s happening there and the details are just too cute to handle.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh kicked off their wedding festivities with a mehendi and sangeet ceremony yesterday. Held at Casa Diva, a luxury resort in the village of Blevio, the couple’s pre-shaadi celebrations are every bit dreamy.

According to reports, Harshdeep Kaur performed at the mehendi ceremony. Apparently, she left the whole crowd completely mesmerised with her soulful singing. She sang songs like Kala Sha Kala, Mehendi Hai Rachney Wali, Mehendi Ni Mehendi and Gur Naal Ishq Mitha. Quintessential desi shaadi, yes, please! There was also a Punjabi style dhol, to which the guests danced to their heart’s content.

The groom-to-be, Ranveer Singh also sang Tune Maari Entriyaan from his film Gunday and dedicated it to his blushing bride-to-be. Everyone was high on energy and the intimate gathering was getting very emotional for the two cuties.
Apart from Hashdeep Kaur, Shubha Mudgal also performed a series of romantic Sufi songs and ghazals. Shubha Mudgal was performing a thumri when DP got emotional and broke down. Soon after, a concerned Ranveer walked up to her and hugged her tightly and consoled his lady love, making her smile again.

For the wedding, the groom is apparently entering on a seaplane while the other guests will be arriving in luxury yachts. Baraat entry goals, heck yeah!
Also, DeepVeer fans, we’ve got the filmiest piece of information for you. In full-on Bollywood style, Bajirao made sure he wooed his Mastani during the traditional Konkani ring ceremony called Phool Muddi. Ranveer went down on one knee and professed his love for DP with an emotional speech. A besotted Leela broke down in tears by this grand gesture and for finally having a happy ending with her Ram.
They also paid a tribute to all the movies they’ve acted together in and slow danced on numbers like Laal Ishq, Lahu Muh Lag Gaya and many more which were played on the guitar during the mehendi.
The guest list is limited to 100 people and only three B-town celebs are present at the venue. Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan who launched Deepika’s career have been invited and so has Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who essentially played matchmaker to the couple.
