Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor first made their relationship public when they walked out hand in hand at Sonam Kapoor’s reception. Ever since then, Alia has been showering loads of social media love on Ranbir and now we’re convinced that RK is the perfect bf.
Now an old interview of both of them is going viral where Ranbir Kapoor reveals that he was supposed to make his debut with Alia Bhatt. OMG! What would have happened to Sonam Kapoor then? That’s right. About 15 years ago, the couple was supposed to shoot together for a film by Sanjay Leela Bhansali called Balika Badhu.
Talking about the same, the Rockstar star said, “Not many people know that Alia and me were actually going to debut together when Sanjay Ji was making a film called Balika Badhu. We had also done a photoshoot together and since then, I have been a fan of her.”
He also went on to talk about how Alia is a phenomenal actor and has done some great films in the few years that she’s been in the movie business.
He added, “When she worked with Imtiaz Alia in Highway, I loved her work. I remember I watched the film and told a friend that Alia is Amitabh Bachchan, she is doing such good work at such a young age. It was quite amazing. So I have been a fan of Alia Bhatt before she became an actor.”
Alia Bhatt was obviously blushing when Ranbir praised her and we can see the pyaar in her eyes. When asked about her response to his claims, she said, “Yes, what he’s saying is correct. When I met Ranbir for the first time, I was 11-years-old. He was assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali and I had to do a photoshoot with him. And I was so shy that I had to keep my head on his shoulder and I could not do it.”
OMG, 11-year-old Alia shying away from putting her head on Ranbir’s shoulder… that’s aww-dorable!
