Kangana Ranaut is known for calling out people and taking a stand whenever necessary. Back in 2017, Kangana accused ex-boyfriend Aditya Pancholi for physically abusing and exploiting her. Shocked by the allegation, wife Zarina left the house with daughter Sana until things cooled down.
Aditya Pancholi filed a defamation case against Kangana sometime back. Responding to the accusations of Kangana and calling them false, Aditya had earlier said, “This is a conspiracy against me. I was surprised when the Versova cops reached out to me with a notice on April 25 this year at my residence.”
And now, Pancholi’s wife Zarina has come to her husband’s defence. In an interview with a leading daily, she said, “You can’t be in a relationship with someone for years and then suddenly accuse him of rape just because the relationship has ended, or because the other person has moved on. It’s just not right. I know him better than anyone else. He has never hidden anything from me. I know what has happened in the past. He has done no wrong.”
Kangana earlier claimed that she went to Zarina to seek help but nothing happened. When quizzed about this, Zarina told a media portal, “She was dating my husband for four-and-a-half-years so how can I say that she’s like my daughter? Impossible!”
Zarina had stood by her husband earlier too after she realised (or he convinced her) that Kangana’s allegations were false.
Wahab said, “Yeh toh sawaal hi nahi hota hai yaar! Agar meri husband ko date kar rahi hai, toh mere paas kaise aayegi? Bolnewali ko bhi akkal honi chahiye! (There is no question of this happening. If she is dating my husband how can she come to me? People who talk like this should have some brains!)”

About two years ago, during promotions of Simran, Kangana revealed that the man who was her father’s age who beat her black and blue was indeed Aditya Pancholi.
She said, “I’m a year younger than his daughter. I was a minor. For me, this was all very new, the world that I had come into. I remember going to his wife and meeting her, and I’m like ‘Please save me! I’m younger than your daughter. I’m a minor and I can’t tell my parents.”
Pancholi in an interview with a media portal hit back at Kangana claiming that she was mentally ill. He said, “She is a mad girl, what to do, did you see the interview? Didn’t you feel like some mad person was talking? Who talks like that? We have been in the industry for so long, nobody has ever spoken anything so evil about anyone. What should I say, she’s a mad girl. If you throw stones in mud, it will only spoil your clothes.”
After Kangana went on and on laying accusations on Pancholi, he decided to sue her. Pancholi said, “I am going to take legal action against her. She is lying that’s why I am taking legal action against her. I don’t know about other people, but as far as my story goes and what she has spoken about me, she has said all lies. She has to prove that I have done that. My family is very much affected by it. My wife and I will take legal action against her.”
