Abhishek Bachchan Schools A Film Exhibitor On Twitter & It’s Savagery At Its Best

Abhishek Bachchan is the king of comebacks and we have seen it all in the befitting replies that he gives to his trolls. And in his recent battle on Twitter, Abhishek Bachchan just schooled film exhibitor Akshaye Rathi on how to praise actors in the right way.

Let us give you a sneak peek into what all happened here. In his tweet, Akshaye had hailed actor Akshay Kumar while taking a jibe at other actors who take time to finish their film shoots. Responding to this tweet in a respectful manner, Abhishek Bachchan pointed out that it’s ‘not fair’ to compare people.

While we think this debate should have ended there, Akshaye Rathi was in no mood to stay mum. His reply to Junior Bachchan’s tweet turned this little debate into a war-of-words between the two. We couldn’t help but notice how respectfully Abhishek handled the entire conversation that could have taken an ugly turn.

Twitter Joins The Debate!

Sadly, Twitter wasn’t going to let this conversation come to an end without adding some masala to it. All the Akshay Kumar fans and haters jumped in on the Twitter thread to say their bit. While several users chose to side with Akshaye and Akshay, others pointed out that it’s the quality that matters, not the quantity.

While several people took this opportunity to troll junior Bachchan, he clearly wasn’t going to sit back and watch. In an interesting response to a troll who called him ‘slow’, Abhishek listed everything he has done in 2020 (BTW, we’ve watched it all) and said that speed isn’t his problem! AB’s kickass response left the troll in shock, who later apologised to the actor.

Akshaye’s love for Abhishek Bachchan

Soon after, the Twitter debate turned ugly, Akshaye Rathi issued a clarification stating that he ‘loves & respects’ Abhishek Bachchan. He also pointed out that two people can have a healthy conversation despite having contrasting opinions. Akshaye praised AB while calling him one of the most hard-working people in the entertainment industry.

While we agree with Akshaye’s opinions on having a civilised conversation, we firmly believe that one doesn’t need to put down others to praise someone. As much as we love Akshay Kumar, we don’t think less of other actors who work just as hard. At the end of it all, we can’t help but love junior Bachchan’s sassy yet respectful comebacks. We may take a lesson or two from AB on handling trolls with such swag!
