And this lucky girl got just that when her boyfriend proposed to her during the second ODI between India and England at Lord’s in July this year. A casual day out for the couple turned out to be the most memorable day of their lives when Pavan Bains decided to propose to his girlfriend Charan Gill, with the camera zooming right in on them.
The moment was so exciting and dramatic that even David Lloyd, former English cricketer and now commentator eagerly waited for Charan to give her answer to Pavan. Even the broadcaster joined the action and the message, ‘Decision Pending’ flashed on the big screen as Pavan and everyone else in the stadium waited for Charan’s answer. And then, finally, she said yes!
