Dating can be tough, there are too many people but not enough to find ‘the one’. It’s more work than finding love should be. Or maybe we’re just spoilt because of rom-coms. Dating apps, however, are a nice tool to work as a catalyst to our romantic conundrums. One just needs to be very transparent and vocal about their feelings – a woman’s recent quest for love on Tinder is like a lesson on how to properly use dating apps.
It’s also a reminder that the key is to ask the right questions. Tamanna, a Twitter (or X) user, shared a post about a guy she met on a dating app. Apparently, she had asked him as to why she should date him. The guy then went on to share a link to a presentation, explaining ‘why’. He added his hobbies, his idea of a good date, some pictures of his dog (of course), and even some referrals.
The effort must be appreciated because it’s rare. Maybe, it can even be a litmus test to see if a person is actually invested. However, like most things that happen on the internet, there are contrasting opinions about this as well. People think he’s probably sending this presentation to all the women on the app. Like that Kuch Kuch Hota Hai scene where Rahul hands out multiple friendship bands. And honestly, that’s a possibility. Which brings me back to my first thought: dating is tough.
