Recently, SRK encountered a fan girl who didn’t hesitate to kiss him on the cheeks without his consent. The video has raised this question all over again—where is the line between a fan and a star?
In the video, SRK appears to be posing with fans for pictures. All of sudden, a woman jumps at the chance to get close to the actor and kiss his cheeks. While the actor let it go, the act did not sit well with the internet users. Scroll down to look at the video:
Many Reddit users pointed out how problematic this incident was. One Redditor shared, “So not cool! What if the roles were reversed? Honestly, that shouldn’t even be a consideration… whatever happened to personal space & consent?”

Any actor or performer is a human first and then an entertainer. Just because they are public figures doesn’t mean they are public property too. As a massive SRK fan girl, I am outraged to see how the actor’s security and personal space went for a toss in this encounter.
As much as you love any star, you must respect their boundaries when it comes to their personal space. It is never justified to launch yourself at someone without their consent. Even if they are your favourite star!
Kudos to SRK for keeping his calm during this fan moment. But even the most jabra fan should learn about boundaries.
