Sonakshi Sinha’s trademark beauty look is a winged eyeliner. You will rarely ever see her without it. But looking at how sharp and precise her eyeliner game is, begs the question: how does she get her winged eyeliner to match on both eyes?
Apparently, the star got access to a pro tip that ensures her wings always match on both eyes and it’s pure genius. Read on to find out how she does it.
How Does Sonakshi Sinha Get Her Winged Eyeliner To Match?
In an interview, Sonakshi said, “I love doing a sharp, thick cat eye,” but since cat eyeliner involves sharp wings on both ends, it can get quite tricky to match. Luckily, Sonakshi’s makeup artist Sandhya Shekar (who is also Deepika Padukone’s go-to MUA) taught her how to draw the perfect winged eyeliner and make it match on both ends. “Keep the eyes open, staring straight ahead into the mirror. First, draw the angular wing on both sides, and then shut one of the eyes to connect the wings to the lash line, before repeating the same on the other side,” Sona revealed.
This allows you to draw matching wings at the same time without having to leave everything to chance by completing one eye at a time. And since Sonakshi’s tip involves drawing angular wings first, a stamp eyeliner like the Wet N Wild Proline Graphic Marker Eyeliner – Jetliner Black is perfect for this step.
What Happens If You Mess Up The Wings?
You can simply saturate a Q-tip in micellar water and clean up the wobbly lines or smudges for a sharper effect. This will ensure your wings match and it won’t ruin the rest of your makeup either.
