Namaste ‘furious’ darshako! Furious, because a recent video of Sara Ali Khan getting inappropriately touched by a fan is going viral and has left the internet fuming. In the video, the actress was seen coming out of the Mumbai airport with mommy dearest Amrita Singh. As usual, she was all smiles for the paps and happily obliged her fans with selfies. But things got weird when a woman touched her hair and neck while leaving after shaking hands with the actress.
Perhaps the touch was unintentional but from an onlooker’s POV, it did seem inappropriate.
Call it an excited fan’s careless exit or a breach of the star’s boundaries, Sara’s discomfort is pretty evident here. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first incident where a fan crossed the line with a celeb. Here are five times we witnessed a similar situation:
1. When SRK Was Pushed For A Selfie
In 2022, Shah Rukh Khan was spotted coming out of the Mumbai airport with his sons—Aryan and AbRam Khan. A fan came out of nowhere and pushed him for a selfie. The protective daddy was quick to nudge him and was evidently irritated.
2. When Kareena Kapoor Khan Was Mobbed
Bebo has always been cool with being photographed when she steps out. However, she was almost mobbed at the airport in October 2022. Fans surrounded her and didn’t let her go. Kareena was visibly uncomfortable but still stayed calm.
3. When Fans Pushed Through Katrina Kaif’s Security
Katrina Kaif lost her cool at the airport in 2019 when a bunch of fans followed her relentlessly and managed to push her security to get a picture with the actress. She had to scold her way out of this one and TBH, it was genuinely a scary situation.
4. When Nora Fatehi Was Ambushed
Nora Fatehi enjoys a massive fan following and is often seen clicking selfies with her chaahne walas. However, the actress seemed quite perturbed when she was mobbed by a group of fans in August 2022 at the airport.
5. When Malaika Arora Had To Run For Her Life
In May 2019, Malaika Arora visited the mall with her dad when a group of #selfiehunters pestered the actress for a picture. She clicked a few but seemed quite irritated while making a quick exit from the venue.
There is nothing wrong with loving a celeb. But fans need to realise that they are also humans and we need to give them space.
Well, here’s a reminder for the fans that sometimes their love needs to have some limits!
