Tried & Tested Some Of The Weirdest Beauty Products Out There

You only live once, why not make the most of life, right?

Snail Secretion Filtrate

Yes, this sheet mask has snail secretion filtrate as an ingredient. Wait? You’re probably wondering what that is? It’s basically mucous that the snail produces when it moves. Packed with nutrients, it’s meant to soothe, hydrate and prevent premature ageing. When you open the pack, you’ll notice that the sheet mask is oozing with gooey serum. Post masking, you’ll be left with fresh, hydrated and glowing skin.

Mother of Pearls

I’ve been using this product for a while now and I am absolutely in love with it! Each eye mask has jelly texture and is loaded with amino acids, minerals and protein. What it’s most famous for its anti-ageing formula that contains black pearl and gold. I usually put them at night and leave it on for 20-30 minutes while reading a good book. My undereye area feels fresh, moist and hydrated after I take them off.

Make Some Noise For Red Algae

This product took a bit of time to work for me, but it eventually did fade some of my dark spots. It contains red algae that helped to improve my skin’s texture and elasticity. Every morning after cleansing and toning my face, I apply this serum and then apply my moisturiser. My skin feels so GOOD after this!

It’s Raining Snakes

After toning my skin, I used to apply this serum all over my face. It’s meant to keep skin plump, hydrated and moist. Packed with a snake venom-like peptide and baobab seed extract, this serum provides nourishment and elasticity to dehydrated skin. After a month and a half, I also noticed that it cleared my skin out and made my complexion appear more youthful. However, the serum didn’t agree with my friend’s skin. You may have to do a patch test first to see that if it works for you or not.

It’s A Bee’s World

Not sure if anyone is comfortable with the idea of using bee venom on their face, but I was. This one isn’t awful at all. I thought I’d experience a skin rash because of the face pack’s bee venom content, but I was wrong – it’s as gentle as a feather! You’ll need to apply it after a moisturiser and keep it on for 10-15 minutes. Don’t wash your face after this, just gently pat dry using a towel.

Show Me The Gold

I believe that gold is more of an investment when it’s sprayed on your face! This baby is infused with 24k gold and rosehip seed oil, and is suitable for all skin types! While it nourishes the skin, it also reduces any tiny signs of ageing like fine links and wrinkles. I often use this as a hydrating mist or as a primer. It keeps my skin fresh, glowy and dewy all day long!

I told you these ingredients are super awesome, right? Which one are you tempted to try out first?
