After teasing us for months, Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra finally got engaged in May 2023. The ceremony took place at Kapurthala house in Delhi, and it was one dreamy affair. Now that the couple has finally made it official by exchanging rings, their fans are eagerly waiting to see them tie the knot soon. A little birdie tells us that the couple is planning to get hitched in Rajasthan. Yeah, you read that right! Reportedly, Parineeti reached Leela Palace, Udaipur in the early hours of Saturday. Further, her relatives are currently staying at The Oberoi Udaivilas Hotel, which is a few kilometers away from her hotel. And after having lunch with her relatives, Parineeti also met the Deputy Director of the Tourism Department to inquire about the tourist places and hostels in Udaipur. And on Sunday, Pari and Raghav were also spotted making their way to Kishangarh to scout for more wedding venues.
Earlier, reports stated that the couple will be tying the knot at the end of 2023. But just like their hush-hush engagement plans, Pari and Raghav are leaving it to our imagination with their wedding plans as well.
A Winter Wedding!
It has been reported that Parineeti and Raghav are planning to tie the knot in September-November. In a conversation with a leading portal, Shikha Saxena (Deputy Director of Tourism Department, Udaipur) revealed, “I met Parineeti at the airport, where we had a good 20 minute conversation, following which we spent the day going to the venues with her. She was not directly talking about marriage but the conversation revolved around things which were indicative around that.”
She further added, “She was inquiring about the weather in Udaipur, when does the monsoon start and winter start. She had September in her mind. I told her that we have late monsoon, so it would be rainy till the last week of September. At that instance, she looked at her PA and noted down the information.”
But wait, there’s more! Reportedly, Pari is also keen on knowing about other tourist attractions in and around Udaipur. She wants the heritage value to be in focus and something that her guests can also enjoy. Shikha Saxena also shared, “The hotel was also giving her a feel at how the guests will be welcomed for the wedding. She really loved the whole idea. The traditional welcome really made her emotional and touched her. There was also a conversation around food during the visit.“
Rajasthan, The Land Of Celebrity Weddings
Well, Pari and Raghav won’t be the first, and they definitely won’t be the last ones, to seal the deal in Rajasthan. In Feb 2022, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani took the internet by storm after they got married in a lavish wedding at Suryagarh Palace, Jaisalmer. In Dec 2022, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal too tied the knot in Rajasthan at the Six Senses Fort, Barwara. Even global sensation Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas hosted their wedding ceremony in Rajasthan at the Umaid Bhawan Palace, in Jodhpur. Looks like Pari is following in her big sister’s footsteps
