After that, she went on to do small roles and dance numbers in movies like Jis Desh Mai Ganga Rehta Hai, Joru Ka Ghulam, Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar K, Masti, and Mai Hoon Na. However, Rakhi got her big break in the item number Mohabbat hai Mirchi, which was composed by Himesh Reshammiya. Rakhi has also been part of many reality TV shows like Nach Baliye, Bigg Boss, and her own show Rakhi Ka Swayamwar and Rakhi Ka Insaaf. She also played a leading role in a movie titled Ek Kahani Julie Ki.
