We can all agree that the internet is like a double-edged sword, especially when it comes to celebrities. While they may get all the love from their fans, they also become soft targets to trolls. These haters make it their life’s mission to be horrible to the celebs and hardly anyone is spared, including star kids. Speaking of which, the newest target of these trolls seems to be Kajol and Ajay Devgn’s daughter, Nysa Devgan.
Nysa has become a full-fledged internet sensation with her fancy-schmancy Insta pics going viral on social media. It’s no surprise that she gets her fair share of unwarranted criticism with all the attention. From getting bullied for her looks to getting called out for how she behaves in the videos, trolls keep brutally bashing her online. And while Nysa hasn’t retaliated so far, mom Kajol has taken matters into her hand not.
In a recent conversation with a leading daily, Kajol spoke about the trolls that say nasty things about Nysa. “I feel trolling has become a very strange part of social media. It has become 75 per cent. If you are trolled, you are noticed. If you are trolled, you are famous. It’s like you are not famous till you are trolled,” the actress said.
Kajol further added that even though only about two per cent have said mean things to Nysa, she is still affected by them. “She (Nysa) has actually gone and checked that all these comments on trolling,” she added.
Kajol also spoke about how she has asked Nysa to look at the upside of being a public figure instead of focusing on the negative. “Voh same cheez main use bhi samjhati hun. Agar ek insaan aapko bol raha hai ki yeh kharab hai, toh usme se 10,000 log hain jo sochte hain ki you are the most beautiful girl in the world (I tell her the same thing. If one person is saying something bad about you, there are 10,000 people who think you are the most beautiful girl in the world). And most important of all what do you see in the mirror?” she said.
Well, we totally side with mama Kajol on this. Dear Nysa, you keep living your best life and let these haters go to hell!
