I’m personally not a big fan of cricket (except the World Cup, of course), but I follow all the matches that Anushka Sharma attends. Okay, that may have sounded silly, but can you really blame me? I mean, is there anyone in the world who does not like to watch Virat Kohli blowing air kisses to Anushka from the pitch? Or, is there anyone whose heart doesn’t do a cartwheel thinking about the fact that even after so many years, the silsila of such gestures hasn’t stopped?
Virat and Anushka are celebrating their third anniversary today and of course, #Virushka fans are psyched. The couple have proved time and again that they are one of the most adorable love-birds ever and the fact that we still crush so hard over their PDA moments can attest to that.
Virat wished his lady love with this beautiful throwback picture on Instagram from their wedding day and wrote, “3 years and onto a lifetime together”.
Anushka also shared a gorgeous snap with her hubby and wrote, “3 years of us & very soon , 3 of us ❣️Miss you ❤️”
The lovebirds are now all set to welcome a little one into their family and we’re already a fan of their distinct vision on how they want to raise their child. Anushka recently shared an Instagram story where she talked about the so-called ‘privilege’ attached to having a male child. She wrote, “The so-called privilege has been viewed incorrectly and with an extremely myopic vision. The only ‘privilege’ is that one has the opportunity to raise a boy in a way that he respects a girl. That’s your DUTY as a parent to society. So, don’t think of it as a PRIVILEGE. The gender of the child doesn’t make you privileged but it is actually the responsibility you owe to society to raise a boy so well that women feel safe and protected.”
