After keeping their relationship hush-hush, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif got hitched at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan in 2021. Pictures from their internet-breaking wedding looked nothing less than a fairytale and still make our hearts flutter. But can you believe that it’s almost been a year and a half since they exchanged their wedding vows? Now Vicky recently opened up about his blissful married life and it is melting our hearts.
In an interview with Bombay Times, Vicky revealed how exciting this new journey has been for him. He said, “I have evolved beautifully. Living with someone is a learning experience. I have come to realise that when two people come together, they create a common ground of understanding and meet halfway, and embark on a beautiful journey together. It’s an incredibly exciting and enriching experience.”
The actor also revealed that he couldn’t have asked for a better partner than Katrina. He shared, “I have been married for over a year and a half now, and I have learnt that it is not just about my perspectives, opinions, or schedules but about the union of two individuals. The truth is that I couldn’t have asked for a better companion than Katrina to live this journey.“
When Vicky Couldn’t Stop Praising Katrina
In another interview, Vicky heaped praises for Katrina and even compared her to Hema Malini and Rekha. He said, “When it comes to making decisions, when I am wondering ye karu ya wo karu (should I do this or that) she will really state things which I know are coming from so much experience of highs and lows, of right decisions and mistakes. When she has an opinion, I know I have to consider it seriously because it is very objective. That wisdom and practicality is something very commendable.”
He added, “Knowing her, not everything was going as per her, she has really hustled and worked hard and aced it. I don’t want to cross a line on her behalf but I truly feel that like there was Hema Malini’s era, Rekha’s era and I truly feel she has achieved that sort of milestone on her merit.”
Baba ji we want exactly what these two have and nothing less. Not too much to ask for!
