When Vicky Kaushal danced on Gaddiya Uchiyan Rakhiyan, he didn’t just make the song famous, he also manifested an “unchi gaddi” for himself! Recently, the actor ticked off one of the biggest wishes on his bucket list as he purchased a swanky Range Rover Vogue. He was seen arriving for a work meeting in his extravagant ride that he so proudly owned. After all, it is the fruit of his hard work. But little did he know that the internet could mock him for something like this.
Recently, a video of Vicky went viral in which he was seen arriving in jet black ride that comes with a hefty price tag of Rs.2.31 crores. The comment section of this video was flooded by his fans and car-lovers who couldn’t help but envy him. However, a certain section of trolls dragged Ranbir Kapoor‘s name into the matter and accused Vicky of “trying to copy him.” Since Ranbir is also a proud owner of a deep blue Range Rover Vogue, netizens mocked Vicky for trying to follow his wife’s ex’s steps. Seriously?
Check out the video here:
Reacting to the video, one user wrote, “Dude tryna be like Ranbir Kapoor,” and another wrote, “Ranbir Kapoor ki cheap copy.” Some people took it extremely far by claiming that Katrina Kaif would be the actual owner of the car. It is sad how certain people on the internet do not understand basic things. Like two celebrities can own the same car without “copying” each other. It is ridiculous how netizens have turned Vicky’s moment of pride into something so vicious.
When Vicky Called Ranbir His “Favourite Actor”
Vicky Kaushal has previously worked with Ranbir Kapoor in Sanju where he played the role of his best friend. In a very recent interview, Vicky opened up about his equation with RK and what he thinks about him. He said, “Ranbir is one of my favourite actors. His most unique quality is that he is incredibly secure as a person and as an actor. Whenever he prepares for a role, the efforts that he put in or the hours he has spent studying for his character, he never brings it to set. He never shows off to others that he has done so much as an actor.”
TBH, if the internet goes any lower than this, it’ll hit rock bottom. It is high time we see the positivity in things and genuinely express happiness for others. We’re proud of you, Vicky!
