Varun Dhawan is a man with a lot of guts. After his NMACC performance controversy with Gigi Hadid, he took things further on the supermodel’s birthday. Varun posted a heartfelt birthday wish for Gigi on his Instagram story with a throwback pic of them. He surely knows how to stir the pot!

What Happened Between Gigi & Varun At NMACC?
Unless you have been living under a rock, you would know how Varun and Gigi’s performance created a stir on social media. During his dance sequence, the actor invited Gigi on the stage and lifted and spun her. The performance ended with him kissing the supermodel’s cheek. Watcg the video below:
After the performance video went viral, many internet users claimed that the supermodel wasn’t comfortable with Varun. The October actor even responded to one such tweet. The Twitter user had shared, “If you are a woman, you are not safe anywhere with anyone. Even if you are Gigi Hadid, invited to a party with an ‘elite’ crowd, guys like Varun Dhawan will randomly pick you up and kiss you without your consent, all in the name of fun. Disgusting.” The tweet has now been deleted.
Varun replied to the tweet and cleared the air. He stated that everything that happened during the performance was approved by Gigi’s team.
Later Gigi also shared a story in which she thanked Varun for making her ‘Bollywood Dreams’ come true. But the story was removed in just a few hours.
After all the hullabaloo, it appears that all is well between Varun and Gigi. BRB, refreshing the supermodel’s Insta feed to look for more clues.
