It’s official at last! Surrounded by family and close friends, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal tied the knot yesterday in an intimate ceremony at The Mansion in Alibaug. While earlier, a number of Bollywood actors and industry insiders were speculated to attend, the wedding is reported to have had about 50 guests. The ceremony and all the preceding functions also had a no-camera policy established to maintain privacy. The first pictures were shared by the actor on Instagram last night, giving us the first look into the newlyweds’ wardrobe.

An Unconventional Colour Scheme
In pictures shared from the phera ceremony, Varun and Natasha could be seen decked up in traditional ensembles, though their choice of colour for the occasion was one that was off-route. Opting for a neutral palette as opposed to the go-to reds and other vibrant colours that dominate traditional weddings, the groom wore an embellished Manish Malhotra sherwani in ivory, complete with metallic threadwork in gold. The intricate floral motifs stood out on the pale base and outfit was rounded up with a long stole featuring pale blue lining.
The bride, who is reported to have worn a design from her own ateliers, also opted for matching Indian wear, a pale gold lehenga selected for the traditional Indian wedding. The voluminous lehenga incorporated tone-on-tone detailing along with embellished handiwork that lent a fair bit of glimmer to the outfit. It was accompanied by a full-sleeved blouse featuring several other elements—ruching on the front, sheer sleeves with placement motifs and a string of beads along the back. The Details
Celebrity makeup artist Namrata Soni was behind the bridal beauty look, which was also clear in a video she shared over Instagram. In the closeups, Natasha Dalal’s dewy makeup details were accompanied with jewellery that was in sync with her outfit and comprised emeralds and diamonds. The delicate maangtika, necklace, earrings and sets of bangles aside (a white bridal chooda as opposed to the traditional red version), a white floral headpiece was used as a hair accessory over which the pale dupatta was draped. Take a closer look at it all below and if an intimate wedding is on the cards, don’t forget the must-haves you require to recreate that beauty look!
