Aaj maine breakup ki party rakhi li hain! Perhaps Yo Yo Honey Singh had Rakhi Sawant in mind when he wrote the national breakup anthem. Recently, Rakhi brought this song to life by throwing the ultimate divorce party and it is better than all of my anniversary parties combined.
For the D-day (pun intended) Rakhi wore a stunning red embellished lehenga and bridal accessories. That’s not all, she danced on dhols celebrating the end of her marriage with Adil Khan. The Main Hoon Naa star spoke about her joy and said, “Yes mera finally divorce horaha hain aur ye meri breakup party hain meri. Log sad hotey hain lekin mein khush hogi. When Rakhi Spoke About Her Divorce With Adil
Rakhi is nothing, if not transparent with the media. Earlier this year, she spoke about her decision to file a divorce. She said, “I earlier said that I won’t divorce Adil because I loved him very much even after he had harassed me and put me through so much trouble. In fact, when he used to fight with me, he often said he wanted a divorce because he wanted to marry again. But I never thought of divorcing him.”
“Now after almost a month that I have been living alone, I have come to terms with the fact that there is no point being married to this man, who does not respect me at all,” concluded Rakhi.
In all honesty, Rakhi is a total queen for choosing her happiness over staying in an unhappy marriage. Dare I say congratulations?
