Great news for all the Made In Heaven fans! The makers have officially announced season 2 of the show and we are super thrilled! It will continue to follow the journey of Tara (Shobita Dhulipala) and Karan (Arjun Mathur) who run a Delhi-based wedding planning agency. Get ready for more relatable scenarios as they navigate through the world of big fat Indian weddings. But wait, there’s more!
Along with the original lead cast, we’ll get also to see some fresh faces. And one of them happens to be a popular influencer! Any guesses ? Well, it is doctor, actor, and transgender activist Trinetra Haldar Gummaraju. ICYMI, Trinetra is Karnataka’s first trans doctor. She also advocates and spreads awareness about LGBTQIA+ issues. She took to her Instagram to share the exciting update with her followers and wrote, “Life update – prepping for the BIGGEST wedding season with shehnai, spice, and everything nice. #MadeInHeavenS2OnPrime coming soon!”
It’s time that we see an honest trans representation on-screen. Now can’t wait to see how the makers will blend Trinetra’s character into the show.
