The lockdown is no excuse for neglecting your hair. Sure, you’ve got nowhere to go and no one to meet, but, you HAVE to have some personal hygiene habits in place. Like continuing to wash your locks twice a week! If you’re not doing this, expect your hair to come out of this lockdown looking shabby, dull and dry. While it’s understandable that during these trying times you may not be able to get your favourite brand of hair shampoo or serum, but you know what? You can make them using basic ingredients you have lying around in your home.
Homemade shampoos are easy to make and so are serums. In my opinion, hair serum is one of the most underrated haircare products in the market. It’s responsible for making your hair smooth, shiny and oh-so-strong. For it to work its magic, you need to apply it on damp hair. Another reason to love homemade serum is that it’s free from chemicals and will you save you some moolah too *wink*
