Come rain or shine, a hydrating face mask is always a great idea. Your skin can be oily or dry, acne prone or sensitive, a simple hydrating pack works on all skin types and it helps that the pack is made out of all-natural ingredients.
Since my skin has been feeling parched lately and I also noticed dullness and fine lines appearing on my face, I decided to whip up a DIY mask with a natural ingredient that is gelatinous and loaded with skincare benefits–chia seeds.
DIY Chia Seed Face Pack
Making this DIY chia seed face pack is super easy. All you need are chia seeds, milk, and honey. Soak a tablespoon of chia seeds in a little bit of milk and let it sit overnight. Transfer the chia seeds and milk mixture into a blender and add a teaspoon of honey. Blend well to form a grainy paste and apply it on your skin. Allow your skin to soak up all its goodness for 15 minutes after which you can rinse it off.
I recommend cleansing your face with a face wash before applying the mask and for that, I like to use the MyGlamm Manish Malhotra Tulsi Cleansing Foam Gel.
Benefits Of DIY Chia Seed Face Pack
Chia seeds are rich in omega fatty acids and they are also loaded with antioxidants. It helps repair the skin barrier, therefore, resulting in a healthy glow. This DIY chia seed face pack can help remove dead skin cells, reduce acne scars, and make the skin more plump and radiant.
I always follow up this face pack with a good sunscreen like the POPxo Glow Goals Illuminating Sunscreen.
Grab these simple ingredients and treat your skin to this DIY chia seed face pack today.
